Starting my Blog
Well I never had a personal blog before. I am going to have to get used to this. Right now this blog is a mess. I confess I have been using it as an experimental testing-ground where I can play away with the new pluggins and themes and whatsits before I subject my other, actually visited, blogs to those.
So right now this blog looks a mess, I confess (haha – rhymes) with adsense units popping up and around amongst twitter posts in an antiquated theme.
Right now I am tired. I feel a need to extrovert from the computer screen but at the same time an aversion to doing so because this is what allows my thoughts to wander toward unpleasantnesses of the times. Its okay that no one would really know what I’m talking about on that – no one is reading this blog!
Okay. So in any case, over the last couple of weeks I have been crash-training in Wordpress I suppose. Well, Wordpress should be easy, there is not much to it. But I took the liberty of attempting to change webhosts shortly after creating my first Wordpress blogs and I then discovered the nightmares that can accompany a Wordpress migration when done by the un-itiated. So a large part of the past week has been spent on … well, to be honest, trying to figure out how to properly move Wordpress blogs from one location to the other. I think I might have finally found a workable method. Actually, I tried this method a week and a half ago but it didn’t work. Now I have come full-circle and it looks like that is the method I will be using – only this time, it works.
But I should publish a separate post on that when I create my next blog, which will be attached to Residual Streams of Income. That is a less personal subject so would probably bore my numerous non-existent readers.
Okay, I should really go to sleep soon. Thank you for listening.
